I used to look at my paintings and know there was something to be fixed, but I couldn’t figure out what it was…
Then I knew what it was, but was unsure how to fix it, or that I would screw it up.
Now, I figure “mistakes” frequently lead to “happy accidents” – One can never be afraid to ruin a painting.
I’ve learned throughout my years of painting to:
Take Risks.
Push boundaries
Go Further.
Don’t be afraid to use paint.
Use colors I have never used
Pretend the paintbrush is a sword and I am fighting a cow (ok – I just threw that in to see if you were really reading!)
Sing…..LOUD
Shake mah booty – a lot
Cry – laugh
But Most important
PLAY _ JUST FRICKIN PLAY!!!
Love ya all
